We recommend that you regularly perform stock control of the closed and open cans (the best every two weeks).

Anyone with the role of Shop Owner can perform a stock control.

Stock control for closed cans

To access this functionality, go to Stock >> Stock Control and choose "Stock control of the closed cans." By default, MIXIT shows the current number of closed cans in stock. Just adjust this number and confirm the changes. You do not have to change the number of cans for all items, only for the different ones.

Stock control for the open cans

To access this functionality, go to Stock >> Stock Control and choose "Stock control of the open cans." MIXIT shows the current net weight of the open cans. You can update the weight of the open cans in two ways:

• select one or multiple cans and click the Open Cans button. MIXIT will automatically deplete the number of closed cans with one and will set the weight of the open can to one full can. Note: if there are no closed cans for a specific stock item or it already has an open can registered, MIXIT will not open a new can. We recommend using this functionality when setting up a brand new shop.
• manually enter the new gross weight for some or all items. MIXIT will calculate the new net weight.
