In this article we will explain how you can configure the awake time of the Automatchic Vision spectrophotometer. The awake time can be adjusted to determine how long the device will remain idle before it automatically switches off. Decreasing the awake time will increase the operating time. Increasing the awake time will make the operation nicer, especially when you are using the device via the supported WiFi connection.

The awake time can only be adjusted with Instrument Manager.

Open Instrument Manager and make sure to pin it, so that it will not automatically close.

Connect the Automatchic Vision to your pc via the supplied USB cable. The Automatchic Vision should show display as a connected device via USB. Right click on the active device and click on Set awake time.

In the window that appears you can choose between several predefined values.

Choose any of the values and press Save to configure the new awake time for the connected device.

Note: The newly configured awake time will become active after the device has restarted.
