In this article, I will explain how a distributor can share prices with customers using the Price module.
Before prices can be shared, you need to prepare an Excel file containing all prices that can be uploaded to your customers.
Note:
Make sure that all prices are entered in the Price module and that all products are enabled before creating the Excel file.
Create an Excel file
To create an Excel file, click the Import / Export button in the Prices tab.
This opens a new window where you need to click the Download Excel file button:
An Excel file is now created and stored in the Downloads folder on your PC. The file contains all active products in your account and will look like the example below:
In this file, you can make changes as needed and also add discounts for each product. Once all changes are made, you can use this file to share the prices with your customers.
Sharing Prices
Go to the Distributors tab. Here you will find all your related customers.
You have the option to enable Own Formula sharing and Favorite Ratio sharing for each individual customer. This can also be done by bulk editing for all customers at the same time or for a selected group of customers.
Under Actions you will see two more icons:
When you click this icon, you can view the Bodyshop Details of that customer.
When you click this icon, you can view the current prices of that customer.
Uploading Prices
When you click on BULK EDIT, the next window appears:
- In the area marked in RED you can enable or disable Own Color and Favorite Ratio sharing for the selected shops.
- In the area marked in BLUE you can update retail list prices, but it ONLY updates prices when these are available for your country in a source shop.
- In the area marked in GREEN you can update your own prices by using the Excel file you prepared earlier.
To upload the prices, click on BULK PRICING UPDATE in the GREEN area:
In the next window, you have 2 options to upload prices:
- Update Prices (default)
- Update Prices and Discounts
After making your selection, drag and drop your Excel file into the red circled area or click on it to browse to the Excel file you want to upload.
Click IMPORT PRICES in the next window:
After completion, you will be notified that the import was successful.
