The use of PIN codes for users is designed to make it easier to work with multiple users in the same account.
Without PIN codes, users have to switch between the different user accounts and need to enter the password every time, which can easily go wrong. Users may end up using another account instead of their own, which makes it difficult to monitor who has actually mixed the paint.
The option to use a PIN code makes it possible to stay in any user account because when a mix is started, it will ask for the PIN code, and that mix will then be stored under the name connected to that PIN.
Note: It is recommended to stay logged in with a user account that has only the Painter role.
