In this article we will explain how you can connect an additional PMA Vision to the Instrument Manager.

This method applies to any shop that has multiple PMA Vision to/from which mixes need to queued or retrieved. It is possible to add multiple scales to one instance of the Instrument Manager. From the MIXIT application you can choose to/from which scale you would like to queue and receive mixes via our synchronization method.

Open Instrument Manager and make sure to pin it, so that it will not automatically close.

From the list of devices, right click below Sartorius PMA Vision.

Click on the small text box that appears 'Add device'.

In the window that appears, you can choose a name or description. The name or description that you choose is what will appear in the MIXIT application when you would like to start a mix. When connecting  multiple scales the name will help you distinguish the scales easily.

Next, also type in the IP address of the scale. If you don't know the ip, refer to the instruction manual of the PMA Vision for clear instructions on how to retrieve the IP address.

Press Save to store the settings and start using the PMA Vision in MIXIT.
