When you pour paint into a can, errors can happen. Pouring excess paint than the desired amount can result in wasting paint, not a good consequence for the Bodyshop.
Paint Excess Report in MIXIT provides information about excess paint as a result of overpour (pouring outside the tolerance of recommended MIXIT amount) and recalculations (when MIXIT prompts to adjust the formula). Recalculations can result in higher adjusted amounts of paint. These excess pouring activities could be avoided with training and being more attentive.
