After the installation of the Instrument Manager there will be an Icon shown in the Taskbar, this Icaon can be a Red or Green round.

The red Icon indicates that the Instrument Manager is running: 

but there are no instruments connected and are shown in red:

The Green Icon indicated that one or more instruments are connected:

The connected Instruments are now shown in black:

What to do if the Icon is not visible in the Taskbar:

Than follow the next steps:

• Right click with your mouse on the Taskbar and select Taskbar settings
  
• Look for "Other system tray Icons and open it
   
• Look for oInstrument Manager in the list
  
  And enable it
  

Now the Icon is visible in the Taskbar
