To ensure that Instrument Manager is properly connected to MIXIT, you must grant access to your PC. You will be asked to allow this access when switching to a new browser or after a browser update.
The steps below explain how to make the required changes for MIXIT working in a browser and when MIXIT is installed as an app:
- MIXIT working in Microsoft Edge
- MIXIT working in Google Chrome
- MIXIT installed as App in Microsoft Edge
- MIXIT installed as App in Google Chrome
MIXIT working in Microsoft Edge
When using this browser for the first time or after an update of the browser, you may see the message below:
If you click on Allow, Instrument Manager will be properly configured in MIXIT and the connection will work as expected.
After clicking Allow, Instrument Manager is connected to MIXIT again and you can continue working as usual.
If you accidentally click Block, Instrument Manager will no longer connect with MIXIT and the message below will appear:
To fix this issue, click on the lock icon in the address bar (indicated with the green square):
A new window will open. Here you must allow "Apps on device".
Microsoft Edge:
After selecting Allowed, close the window. The system will then ask you to Refresh or Reload the page.
After refreshing the page, MIXIT will function normally again.
MIXIT working in Google Chrome
When using this browser for the first time or after an update of the browser, you may see the message below:
If you click on Allow, Instrument Manager will be properly configured in MIXIT and the connection will work as expected.
After clicking Allow, Instrument Manager is connected to MIXIT again and you can continue working as usual.

MIXIT installed as App in Microsoft Edge
When MIXIT is installed as an app in Microsoft Edge, follow the steps below:
Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
This will open a new window. Select "Privacy".
Click on Manage privacy settings.
Click on the dropdown next to Local network access and select Allowed.
A pop-up message will ask you to reload the site for the changes to take effect.
After reloading the site, MIXIT will reconnect to Instrument Manager and work as expected.
MIXIT installed as App in Google Chrome
Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of your screen.
This will open a new window where you need to enable "Apps on device".
A pop-up message will ask you to reload the site to apply the updated settings.
After reloading the site, MIXIT will reconnect to Instrument Manager and work as expected.
