For the Sikkens products Autowave, Autowave MM 2.0, and Autobase Plus we have introduced the Grey Shade concept, this means that all Sikkens Basecoat formula's have a Grey Shade recommendation connected to it on the formula page.
These Gray Shades can be mixed directly from the formula page with primers which are listed as
Shaded Primer
Sikkens we have currently the following Shaded Primers available:
- ColorBuild Plus / Colorbuild Plus 250
- Autosurfacer Optima
Gray shades
We have defined 5 gray shades
The Gray shades can also be mixed from the Home search bar:
Setting up Shaded Primers
Shaded Primers needs to be activated in MIXIT on the "Settings" --> "Brands and Product" page.
Basically there are 3 options:
- No Shaded Primer selected
- Only one Shaded Primer selected
- Two shaded Primers selected
Once you have selected your prefered Primer then the toners need to be selected on the "Settings" --> "Product Management" page.
When no Shaded primer is selected
If a formula is formulated with a dedicated Colorbuild Plus formula than this CBP code will be shown:
In all other cases, MIXIT shows the SGS code:
In both cases, MIXIT is not able to show the toner composition. Only when the toners of the shaded primer are selected in the shop, MIXIT can show the toner composition of the selected primer.
When Autosurfacer Optima is selected
Mixit will show the only the Autosurfacer Optima Gray Shades, even if a dedicated Colorbuil Plus Formula is available!
To see the Grey Shade formula, click on the Grey Shade code next to Layer 1. Here you can add RTS components to it if needed and start a mix.
When Colorbuild Plus is selected
When only Colorbuild Plus is selected MIXIT shows the dedicated Colorbuild Plus formula when available, in all other cases it shows the CBP Gray Shades.
To see the Grey Shade formula, click on the Grey Shade code next to Layer 1. Here you can add RTS components to it if needed and start a mix.
When both Shaded Primers are selected
When both primers are selected in the Shade Primer list than you can choose in the Formula page which primer you want to use.
this can be done in Primer selector at the right side of the window, the formula of the selected primer will be shown in the left hand side of the window.
When SGS is selected, it will show the formula for Autosurfacer Optima:
When CBP is selected it will show the formula for Colorbuild Plus, this will be the corresponding gray shade or a dedicated formula if available:
