Instrument Manager is a desktop application that connects MIXIT with scales and color spectrophotometers.

We continuously update MIXIT with improvements and new features. In some cases, Instrument Manager must also be updated accordingly.

1) To install for the first time or to update, click the Download Instrument Manager button on the Measurements tab.

2) Once the download is complete, the following screen will appear. Click OK to continue.

3) After downloading, double-click Instrument Manager.exe to start the installation.

The MIXIT Instrument Manager Setup window will appear, prompting you to accept the Software & Database License Agreement. To proceed, check the agreement box and click Install.

4) Instrument Manager will now install. After completion, it will check for the latest updates, which may take a few seconds.

5) Installation is complete when the Updating Instrument Manager window disappears, and the MIXIT Instrument Manager Setup displays "Installation Successfully Completed". Click Close to exit.

Instrument Manager will launch automatically. You can confirm it's running by checking the Windows taskbar icon.

A red dot indicates that Instrument Manager is running, but no devices are connected or configured.

A green dot indicates that Instrument Manager is running with a connected device.

6) If the Instrument manager doesn't work correctly there is a repair function available in Instrument manager, double-click Instrument Manager.exe to start the installer, the following screen appears, click on Repair to start the repair function

7) When the repair function doesn't work or the Instrument manager needs to be un-installed for any other reason, click on the Uninstall button, this with completely remove the Instrument manager from the PC.

When the Instrument Manager is uninstalled the following screen appears, press close to finish.
