Enabling Work Orders
To use Work Orders, you first need to enable this function in the MIXIT configuration page.
To do that, go to Settings > Config.
Here you will find the option: "Enable work order selection on mix start". This will enable the option to create Work Orders.
When this option is selected, a second option will appear: "Enforce 100% allocation of mix to work order".
There are 2 options to consider:
- If this option is disabled, you can choose the percentage you want to assign to a mix. The remaining percentage will not be assigned.
- If this option is enabled, then 100% of the mix must be assigned to a Work Order, or it can be distributed across multiple Work Orders.
Create a New Work Order
To create a Work Order, start from the tab Work Order and click on Create Work Order Item.
After clicking on Create Work Order Item, the next window will open where you can add the details of the Work Order.
Example
Automatic Creation of a Work Order
A Work Order can also be generated in the Prepare Mix dialog when starting a mix. In the indicated field, you can enter a new Work Order. This will create the Work Order, but the details must be added later from the Work Order page.
Note:
To enter a new Work Order, you need to have the Work Order Manager role.
Assign a Mix to a Work Order
Assigning a Work Order to a mix can be done in the Prepare Mix dialog. From the dropdown list, you can choose the Work Order to which you want to assign the mix.
Assign a Mix to Multiple Work Orders
A mix can be assigned to more than one Work Order. In the Prepare Mix dialog, you select the first Work Order and then change the percentage of the mix to the amount you want to assign to that Work Order. Any value is possible.
The warning "The sum of the allocation % to all work orders must be 100" is shown when the option is enabled in the configuration.
To assign the remaining amount to a second Work Order, click "ADD WORK ORDER" and select the one you need. Click NEXT to continue.
Removing the Work Order from a Mix
If a mix is added to the wrong Work Order, it is possible to remove the Work Order from the mix.
When the option "Enforce 100% allocation of mix to work order" is enabled in the configuration, click on the three dots next to the mix you want to remove in the Work Order, select Mix Information, and click on the X to the right of the Work Order.
When the option "Enforce 100% allocation of mix to work order" is disabled in the configuration, click on the three dots next to the mix you want to remove in the Work Order and select Unlink Mix.
Press OK to remove it.
Close and Re-open a Work Order
When all mixes are completed in a Work Order, it can be closed by pressing the Close button at the bottom of the left side of the Work Order.
Or click on the icon on the Work Order page.
If, for any reason, a mix needs to be added or details need to be changed, you can re-open the Work Order by pressing the Re-open button. This can only be done from within the Work Order itself.
Remove a Work Order
A Work Order can be removed when there are no mixes attached to it. Just press the Remove Work Order button.
Press OK and the Work Order will be removed.
