In this article we will explain how a PMA Evolution can be configured in the Instrument Manager.

A PMA Evolution connected to the Instrument Manager will be available for selection in the MIXIT application when you want to start a mix.

When the PMA Evolution is properly connected it will display as a connected device in the Instrument Manager.

Steps to connect the PMA Evolution are listed below:

• Before start
• Install PMA Evolution drivers
• COM Port Setup

Before start

The PMA Evolution requires to install first the USB drivers. These drivers can be download from the following link.

Install PMA Evolution drivers

1. Right click on the drivers file downloaded and click on Extract all.

   

2. Click the button Extract and wait until the extraction is finished.

   

3. Open the extracted folder, and double click the Setup file. Once finished the process the drivers will be installed.

    

COM Port Setup

1. Open Instrument Manager and make sure to pin it, so that it will not automatically close.

    

   

2. Navigate to Options > COM Port Setup

    

   

3. Select brand Sartorius and the correct COM Port

   

4. After the previous steps the PMA Evolution scale will be available to when starting a mix in MIXIT
