Instrument Manager is a desktop application required for connecting MIXIT with the scale and color spectrophotometer. 

We are continuously updating MIXIT with improvements and new features. In some cases, Instrument Manager needs to be updated along with it.

Please click on the Download Instrument Manager button when the message "We have a new version of Instrument Manager available for you, please update" is shown on the measurements tab. 

When the download is completed run Instrument Manager.exe by double-clicking on it, this will start the installation process. First, a standard popup will appear with the request if you want to run the file, click on Run to accept. 

The MIXIT Instrument Manager Setup window appears with the request to accept the Software & Database License Agreement. Accept it by clicking once on the checkbox followed by clicking on Install. 

Instrument Manager will now be installed. After the installation is completed the program will look for the most recent updates, this will take about 15 seconds.

The installation is finished when the updating Instrument Manager window disappears and the MIXIT Instrument Manager Setup window shows "Installation Successfully Completed". Click on Close to exit the setup window. 

Instrument Manager will start automatically, you can check if Instrument Manager is running by looking for the icon on the Windows taskbar.

If there is a red dot, it shows that Instrument Manager is running but no devices are connected or configured.

If the dot is green, it shows that Instrument Manager is running with a device connected.
