For the Sikkens products Autowave, Autowave MM 2.0, and Autobase Plus. We have introduced a new Grey Shade primer called AutoSurface Optima. This product is an alternative to Colorbuild Plus. 

New to the Grey Shade primer is that every formula will have a Grey Shade recommendation. In comparison, MIXIT only provides a Colorbuild Plus primer recommendation for 10% of our formulas. 

 

How does it work? 

The new Grey Shade Primer AutoSurfacer Optima needs to be activated in MIXIT on the "Settings" --> "Brands and Product" page.

And the toners need to be selected on the "Settings" --> "Product Management" page. 

 

To see the Grey Shade formula, click on the Grey Shade code next to Layer 1. Here you can add RTS components to it if needed and start a mix. 

 

With the addition of AutoSurfacer Optima, a formula may have 2 primer recommendations. One for Grey Shade and one for Colorbuild Plus. On the formula page, MIXIT will show them both if: 

• AutoSurfacer Optima and Colorbuild Plus have been selected on the Settings --> Brands and Products page
• The formula has 2 primer recommendations. 

 

When only one Shaded primer is selected.

AutoSurfacer Optima

When only AutoSurfacer Optima is selected in MIXIT, only the SGS code will be shown, and the primer selector is not visible, even if the formula has 2 primer recommendations.

 

Colorbuild Plus

When only Colorbuild Plus is selected MIXIT shows the Colorbuild Plus recommendation when available. 

 

When there is no Colorbuild Plus recommendation available, MIXIT will show the Grey Shade code.

 

For every Grey Shade code, there is an equivalent available for Colorbuild Plus which can be found on the Home page. 

This will help to easily find the correct primer shade for the selected color. 

 

When no Shaded primer is selected.

MIXIT still shows the code for the Shaded Primer. When the SGS and CBP codes are available, then MIXIT will only show the CBP Code.  In other cases, MIXIT shows the SGS code. 

In both cases, MIXIT is not able to show the toner composition. Only when the toners of the shaded primer are selected in the shop, MIXIT can show the toner composition of the selected primer.
